Information concerning RAJA 2024 in Branson, Missouri, and a registration form are now available here.
RAJA was formed in 1976 as a social organization for Army JAG retirees who wish to stay in contact with each other. Excluding spouses, it is presently composed of more than 300 members and associate members.

Regular membership is open to commissioned officers who are retired members of the regular or a reserve component of the Army, including the Army Reserve and the National Guard. Associate members are spouses, widows, and widowers of regular members.

Dues are ten dollars per year for regular members and their spouses. Life membership is one hundred dollars. Widows and widowers of regular members are granted life memberships.

Each year the organization holds a membership meeting. The annual meeting usually rotates among three sections of the country—East, Central, and West. The next regular meeting will be in Branson, Missouri, May 30 – June 2, 2024. Select this link for more information.

Message from RAJA President, Mike Chapman

Dear RAJA Members:

This year we got together in Nashville during the first week in June for the 47th annual meeting of RAJA. Joe and Donna Ross and Mary and I were the official hosts, but we could not have done it without the help of Joe and Donna’s daughter, Sara, who lives in Nashville. We are grateful for her hard work.

The meeting included tours of the Country Music Hall of Fame, Ryman Auditorium (the one-time home of the Grand Ole Opry) and Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage. We received a very interesting and informative briefing from LTG Stu Risch, The Judge Advocate General. It was wonderful that he and his wife, Cindy, stayed and participated in our activities. Next year Jim and Tanna Schmidli will host our meeting in Branson, Missouri. In 2022 Branson was listed among Tripadvisor’s top trending destinations. We hope to see you there.
